I go to Umi whenever I am hungry and in Belltown. The sushi is always fresh and the interior are so cool! There is a "porch" area with live bamboo, skylights and outdoor furniture; it totally feels like your eating outside in a Japanese forest.Bathrooms are a little tricky, as you walk in the walls are bamboo and the doors are built out of the same material as the walls. It feels a little like a secret passage way :)
As for the food, there is a platter you can order with all the fresh seafood nigari style, (raw fish on rice balls), which I order if I'm with a couple people. Otherwise the Bad boy roll is fried heaven and usually fills me up.
It's a little pricey but it's more that worth it for the food and atmosphere!

I've eaten there once too and it was really good. Sat at the sushi bar and the guys working told me all about the different kinds of fish they were cutting up, it was pretty cool!
