Supporting Evidence

My beef with Apple has many facets, but I'll limit myself to iTunes. In short, iTunes is as monopolistic with your music as Microsoft & Windows ever were.

I bought the music like a good little boy. The artist got paid so they can keep making more music. However, I can't put MY music on any device other than an iPod. WTF? My only option is to make a CD, rip it back onto my computer and then load it onto my new MP3 player, which kills the quality of the legally purchased recording.

Why won't iTunes let me put MY music on whatever device I want?

I agree with you tbadly. It makes sense to me that after you buy the music, you should be able to put it on whatever device you want.

There is an iTunes converter you can download, if you just go to google and type 'itunes converter' there are tons of programs you can download that will change them into MP3 format :)

All of you make valid points, and its awesome there is a way to combat it, but at the same time, after purchase something, you own it and should be able to do whatever you want with it.
